Research

Flock Health Ltd are involved in a number of research projects and clinical trials on sheep farms, with veterinary practitioners and in collaboration with research institutions and industry partners.

Some previous examples include:   ‘An observational case-control study to study the effects of foot trimming lame sheep' funded by a Sainsbury's Research and Development Agricultural grant 2012 & 2014

Ram Fertility Survey – coordinated a study of 287 veterinary ram fertility examinations funded by EBLEX 2013

‘A pilot study on the value of fallen stock necropsy to sheep farmers, with an emphasis on ewe mortality’ funded by EBLEX and a Moredun Foundation Scholarship (2012)

‘Acute ovine mastitis – risk factors’ Organised pilot study for a national survey by Warwick University (2010)
